I work with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, or that may be asking the question “who am I really?” Life transitions may bring uncertainty which can prevent us from enjoying a healthy and happy life. I am here to discuss tough subjects in order to build coping skills that promote success and a positive self-identity. When working with teens I work with parents to develop an effective plan that helps support their child’s improvement and build meaningful relationships.
I also work with couples at various stages of their relationships and help facilitate new patterns of healthy communication and identify core issues that can lead to conflict resolution.
My goal is to quickly help you develop the skills needed to feel your best self. I believe your body and brain have the natural ability to heal itself. I provide a supportive, empathetic and attuned environment that can help support your process. My approach is integrated using Brainspotting, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and somatic practices. I am a certified clinical trauma professional and a certified Brainspotting therapist.
I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling with a Marriage Family Therapy option and am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist. I have worked in school settings through Discovery Counseling Center in Danville, Anthropos Counseling Center, a non-profit organization that offers affordable counseling in Livermore and have been the Clinical Director of a trauma recovery center under the UCSF model that serves survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. Working with a diverse population has provided me the experience to work with a wide range of individuals.
